Jubilee MPs save laptop project in Parliament
28 June 2013, 08:08
Nairobi - Daily Nation reports deputy minority leader Jakoyo Midiwo's efforts to have the money set aside to fund the laptop project spent on paying teachers were shut down by the Jubilee Coalition MPs.
The MPs had to vote twice to save the project, which is a key pillar of the Jubilee Coalition’s election pledges.
Had the MPs supported Midiwo's move then the laptop project would have gone without funding.
