Jirongo now dismisses Uhuru, Ruto alliance

Nairobi - Presidential aspirant Cyrus Jirongo has said leaders forging alliances with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta risk losing out in his government.

According to the Standard, Jirongo resurfaced from the political silence and said the Constitution does not protect such leaders from being shown the door after forming the government.

He said that, the new Political Parties Act does not protect leaders in political marriages.
