I have no interest in coalitions – Kibaki

Nairobi - Capital News reports State House on Friday denied media reports alleging interference in the formation of political coalitions by President Mwai Kibaki and his confidants.

A statement released by the Presidential Press Service said President Kibaki has vowed to respect the choice of Kenyans at the ballot.

The statement read, "we wish to state that President Kibaki remains focused on his service to the nation and peaceful elections and transition and should not be dragged in ongoing political activities."
