Governors want to amend law to get more funds

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports governors are planning to amend the Constitution in order to get more funds to run county activities.
They are seeking to increase the amount at least three times the one prescribed in the Constitution.
According to the Council of Governors chairman, Isaac Ruto, a Constitutional amendment Bill on the proposal is being drafted, and it will be ready “in the next ten days”.
