Nairobi - The Standard reports governors have convened a crisis meeting to protest what they term as an attempt by Jubilee government to frustrate operations in county units.
According to Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto, they intend to discuss reduced funding of county governments.
He said it is wrong for Jubilee government to drastically reduce funding to county governments when President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto had declared that funding would be pegged at 40 per cent of national revenue.
