Nairobi - The Star reports women's representatives have called on the government to provide free nursery school education to pupils countrywide.
They are also planning to make free pre-primary education mandatory by tabling a motion in Parliament.
According to Laikipia women representative Jane Apollos, children's basic rights have been ignored by former and current governments, adding that all schoolgoing children should be treated equally and be provided with free education.
