Nairobi - Jubilee coalition has accused some foreign envoy for interfering in the country’s elections, in a bid to manipulate the vote results.
In a statement, the Jubilee Coalition, slammed the "shadowy, suspicious and rather animated involvement of the unnamed envoy based in Kenya, in the 2013 general election that were carried out on Monday.
The party accused them of pushing the electoral commission to include invalidated votes in the counting, making it harder for their coalition to pull off a first round win.
In a rejoinder the envoy denied the charges on saying: "Unhelpful [& wrong] claims of international observers interference in election.
Jubilee's accusations came after the electoral commission IEBC chairman Issack Hassan earlier announced that the commission would reset the tabulation formula.
Hassan said the commission will work with the total number of votes cast rather than the total number of valid votes.
