Nairobi - Aden Duale has threatened to quit as Jubilee’s National Assembly Majority Leader if President Uhuru Kenyatta heeds to CORD’s call for national dialogue.
He said there are constitutional avenues Cord can use to have their issues addressed and warned the President against holding any special sitting with CORD leaders, The Star reports.
CORD leaders, led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga continually called on the government to heed to their call for talks, but the government seems to have taken a hard stance.
Raila has insisted that there be talks on a wide range of issues including ethnicity in public appointments, insecurity and corruption.
