Nairobi - Leaders allied to the Jubilee Alliance have urged the Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo to closely monitor the Cord rally scheduled for this weekend to ensure that it does not propagate hatred and tension.
The Standard reports that the leaders, led by Minority Leader Aden Duale, asked Kimaiyo to deal accordingly with those caught spreading hate speech.
Cord is expected to hold a rally at Uhuru Park Saturday when the coalition’s leader, Raila Odinga returns back to the country after two months of vacation in the US.
