Court stops Kethi's arrest

Nairobi - Lawyer Kethi Kilonzo is free for the next fourteen days, as police are barred from arresting as they complete investigating her alleged theft of a voter registration slip.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Keriako Tobiko, has also said it needs time to peruse her file to determine whether or not she will be charged with electoral fraud, The Star reports.
Kethi, through her lawyer, Harun Ndubi, filed an anticipatory bail application at the High Court Criminal Division on Wednesday in anticipation of a possible arrest to save her the embarrassment of being arrested and dragged to court.
