Court halts MPs pay hike

Nairobi - The Standard reports MPs move to award themselves hefty pay increment above the one stipulated by the salaries commission was yesterday suspended by the High Court.
The MPs should get the stipulated KES 532, according to High Court Judge David Majanja's order.
The Law Society of Kenya had moved to court to challenge the MPs bid for higher salaries.
