Counties given money to construct roads

Nairobi - The government has given counties KES 27 billion for road construction, Daily Nation reports.
The Transitional Authority has also been ordered to cancel a gazette notice that allowed the transfer of functions to 13 counties.
Deputy President William Ruto and governors agreed that salaries of all public servants affected by the devolution process will be paid by the national government for six months as devolved units continue to build their capacities.
