Nairobi - Parties affiliated to Cord coalition are strategizing on how they can emerge as winners in October 17 by-elections.
In Siaya County, Cord nominated Cornel Rasanga, who lost his governor’s post through a court petition, to battle it out with William Oduol of National Agenda party in the gubernatorial contest, The Standard reports.
Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper party decided not to nominate a candidate to contest for Kibwezi West parliamentary seat saying it will back Kalembe Ndile of The Independent Party (TIP). The immediate former Matungulu MP Stephen Mule was also nominated by Wiper to defend his seat after losing it through a court petition.
