CORD ally against referendum
15 August 2013, 13:07
Nairobi - CORD ally Hamisi MP Charles Gimose (Federal Party of Kenya) has brushed off the calls for a referendum to amend the constitution.
In a brief to the media, Gimose said that a referendum at this time will be too expensive and it is uncalled for, The Standard reports.
Gimose added that the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, was calling for a referendum to amend the constitution while the constitution was his own brainchild.
