Civil servants barred from engaging in politics

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports the government has issued a warning to civil servants against engaging in partisan politics ahead of the March 4 General Election. 

According to the Head of the Civil Service Francis Kimemia, the officials risk dismissal if found culpable.

He said those directly involved "will face instant suspension and even dismissal while those who attempt doing it will be interdicted".
