Nairobi - Leaders allied to the CORD coalition have accused Jubilee of using unorthodox means to weaken the opposition.
Citing the passing of the Media Bill 2013, Cord accused Jubilee of buying the loyalty of Cord MPs thus affecting their ability to execute the mandate of opposition in parliament, The Standard reports.
Speaking during the meeting held at Orange house Tuesday, The Standard reports that Cord also faulted the recent Nyumba Kumi initiative and asked Kenyans to reject it.
Other issues deliberated in the meeting included the upcoming by elections in Bungoma and Kisii, the ongoing probe into Westgate attack, security and appointments to public offices.
