Nairobi - The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) and the ruling Jubilee coalition are planning to hold parallel political rallies for their supporters in Nairobi on Friday.
CORD leader, Raila Odinga is expected to address the coalition’s supporters at Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) when he returns from his US tour, The Standard reports.
Among the key issues that will be addressed at the rally include blocking more Anglo Leasing payment, pushing for the removal of the chairman of the electoral commission and his team and insecurity.
On the other hand, the Jubilee coalition, led by Parliaments Majority Leader Aden Duale said they will be holding a rally for their supporters in Nairobi and accused CORD of planning to spoil the coalition by holding the rally at KICC.
