African leaders: Drop Uhuru, Ruto ICC cases

Addis Ababa - Daily Nation reports African presidents on Sunday supported a petition seeking to halt criminal charges facing President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
According to the leaders, the trials should be sent back to the national courts.
Uganda brought the motion for the petition which was said to have been supported by 53 presidents.
