AG justifies his trip to The Hague

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports Attorney General Githu Muigai has said he was at The Hague to attend an informal consultations meeting about cooperation between state parties to the Rome Statute and the ICC.
The AG had traveled to the Netherlands on Monday, the eve of the status conference to discuss the case facing Deputy President William Ruto.
He explained that the meeting had been scheduled by the ASP with the objective of bringing both the Government and Non-Governmental Organisations experts from The Hague and capitals to exchange views on various co-operation issues.
