AG: Judiciary can handle Uhuru, Ruto ICC cases

Nairobi - The Star reports Attorney General Githu Muigai has said that the judiciary is able to handle the ICC cases facing President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto if they are referred back to Kenya.
Speaking when he appeared before Parliament's Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, Muigai said Kenya’s landscape has changed with the dawn of the new constitution.
Request by African Union to have the Kenyan cases referred to local courts were rejected by The Hague based court.
