Nairobi – A woman’s body parts were found at Umoja estate sparking police to launch an investigation.

According to Standard Media her hands, heads and legs were found in paper bag near Fadhili Primary School while her torso was still missing.

Her body was by a shop keeper, Haroun Mbaka nearby who reported the matter to the police on Tuesday morning, reported the Daily Nation.

“There was a black plastic bag and when I cut it open, I saw a human body part,” he said.

"Efforts to identify her and get those behind the murder are ongoing. We suspect the woman was killed elsewhere and the body parts dumped where they were found," said Buruburu DCI Jeremiah Ikiao.

Investigation has been launched and her identity is still unknown.
