Why Kenyans want Mutahi Ngunyi arrested

Nairobi - Kenyans on twitter are calling for the arrest of Political Analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi.

The Kenyans have been irked by Ngunyi’s claims that he was not aware of the KES 11,875,000 extra payment made to his company by NYS last year.

According to The Star, Ngunyi’s company was hired to restructure NYS in March 2014, but payments were in excess of KES 12.5 million.

Ngunyi, who has denied receiving the money, recently confirmed that he received some cash but could not verify its source.

In a letter to the Public Service CS Sicily Kariuki, Ngunyi says: “There is a payment totaling KES 11,875,000, which we did not invoice any of our clients for.”

He further asks the CS to confirm if the funds came from NYS, and pledges to refund it.

Kenyans have condemned the political analyst, saying his behavior is hypocritical.
