WATCH: MP argues with police over inebriated driver

Mombasa – Yet another man in office has been caught on camera
getting into a confrontation with the law where he blocked them from arresting his inebriated
driver over the Easter weekend.
Kaloleni Member of Parliament (MP) Gunga Mwinga got into it
with the police during a drunk driving crackdown along Nyali bridge.

According to media house,Kenyans the National Transport
Safety Authority (NTSA) were accused of using force against his driver.
In the video he is seen inquiring why they were using force against him.
However the officers stood their ground and urged motorists
to organise alternative transport or use a taxi.
Meanwhile last week an assistant Chief from Mawingu, Joseph
Rotich was let off for being drunk while on duty.
He was caught sleeping on the floor inebriated which led to his own demise, this is in light of the fact that the
police have been embarking on a nationwide crackdown on illicit brew and this officers actions caused grave embarrassment to the force.
His sacking was to send out a stern message against illegal
activity regardless of your rank.
