Meanwhile last week an assistant Chief from Mawingu, Joseph Rotich was let off for being drunk while on duty.

He was caught sleeping on the floor inebriated which led to his own demise, this is in light of the fact that the police have been embarking on a nationwide crackdown on illicit brew and this officers actions caused grave embarrassment to the force.

His sacking was to send out a stern message against illegal activity regardless of your rank.
