In an interview with Citizen TV, Dominick’s father, Gerald Otieno accused the hospital of negligence in handling of their only son.

However, the Nairobi County Health executive Dr Bernard Muia said the boy was referred at 1pm and not 10am as alleged by his father, adding that it would have taken 3 hours to get to KNH.
He also alleged shortage of ambulances, The Star reports, saying the only working ambulance had taken another patient to KNH by the time baby Dominick was referred.
Last year, a woman bled to death at the facility in an alleged case of medical negligence.
