Violence ensues between Deputy Principle and irate parents

Migori – An irate group of Nyikendo Primary School parents
stormed the grounds of a neighbouring secondary school after their children
were blocked from using the playing field.
According to Kenyans a violent scuffle ensued between
Secondary School Deputy Principle, John Hamisi and the irate parents when he attempted to engage them.
Primary school chairman, Washington Omondi however
explained that the playing field are fenced off because the secondary school are sharing it with Nyikendo Primary.
It is yet to be confirmed the extent of the scuffle.

In February this year the same group of parents from Nyikendo Primary were
involved in another confrontation with management when their children were sent
home for failing to pay towards a teacher’s trip.
The trip was to applaud the teachers for their great performance
however parents said they felt hustled and revealed that they are constantly being asked for money by head teacher.
