Nairobi - The term of the current elected leaders including Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto is likely to be extended by a year.
This is because of the current reforms at the IEBC that are likely to push the general election from 2017 to 2018.
According to Standard, the Kriegler Commission recommended that an electoral team should be in place at least two years to the general election.
