Uhuru names old dogs to public positions

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has named old faces in three senior public appointments announced Friday.
According to The Star, Franklin Bett has been named chairman of the Agricultural Finance Corporation AFC.
He has also promoted Nzioka Waita as deputy to Chief of Staff Joseph Kinyua, who is also head of Public Service.
ICC lawyer Katwa Kigen was appointed unclaimed assets authority chairman
for three years and former Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere the Nyayo
Tea Zones development authority chairman.

Capital News further Julius Kones was
appointed National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation chairman
and James Mwangi the chairman of the Kenya Vision 2030 delivery board.
Foot appointed Kenya Film Commission Board chairman and Silas Muriuki
chairman of the Local Authorities Provident Fund.
