Two Nairobi school girls swept away due to flood

Nairobi – Two school girls
from Kanyorosha Primary School were fatally swept away on Thursday morning due
to flash floods after the Nairobi River burst its banks.
According to Citizen TV
they two girls went to the river wipe their shoes after school.
Their body of one of the
girls were found but the other was not found.

A police officer based in
Naivasha was swept by raging floods after he attempted to cross a flooded river
in the area last weekend.
The officer who was serving
in the anti-stock theft unit was in the company of his colleague returning to
their camp after carrying out an operation.
