The assailants escaped in a speeding car but on learning that police were pursuing them, they allegedly abandoned the car and fled on foot.
This comes hot on the heels of the discovery that Kenya was paying a Washington-based PR firm KES 3 million monthly for positive coverage in the US.
In a report published by Daily Nation on Monday, it was revealed that the government had hired Podesta Group to push for stronger ties between the two nations, with the government having spent over KES 50 million in the past one year on PR campaigns.
