Two herders in Endo killed

Endo – Suspected Pokot herders in
Endo killed two herders over a pasture dispute.
According to The Star the attack occurred
on Wednesday evening.
The herders from Tiaty in Baringo
County crossed over into Marakwet East fleeing their drought stricken land in
search of greener pastures.

Five days ago it is suspected that
the same attackers shot a herder who has encroached on their land.
Meanwhile last week over 400 squatters on
Hussein Farm in Mombasa County were left homeless after police officers
demolished their dwellings and set their bedding on fire.
At least 200 structures were demolished and
the squatters evicted amid tear gas and gun shots last Thursday.
Evictees claim they were not notified of the evictions.
