Two children missing during Marsbit county flood

Marsbit – Two children went missing after heavy rain storms in Laisamis, Marsbit county on Thursday evening.

According toThe Star two boys aged 10 and 14 years old were herding 200 goats when they were swept away.

The Red Cross reported on Twitter that the most affected areas are Marsabit, Isiolo and Samburu.

Meanwhile a number of major roads in Nairobi bore the brunt of heavy rains as they flooded Thursday evening following flash rains in the city.

Several roads including Kenyatta Avenue, and Ojijo Road in Parklands were flooded.
