Ruto denies man named in NYS scandal is his brother

Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has denied reports that Luke Samoei is his brother as
claimed by former devolution CS Anne Waiguru in an affidavit on the KES 791 million NYS scam.
According to The Star, the DP's communications secretary said he
has no brother by that name "as alleged in memos or affidavits and
reported in some section of the media".
His Secretary David Mugonyi noted this in a statement on Thursday, following the affidavit that stated Samoei was Ruto's younger brother.

excellency DP Ruto," Waiguru said in the affidavit.

"Samoei requested for business for his company by the name Equity Tech. He said I should be biased in giving it good work."
Capital News further reported that Samoei denied being the DP's brother.
Samoei admitted seeking contracts at the National Youth Service (NYS)
which he did not get and insisted he was not aided by any top Jubilee
The NYS scandal has seen many high ranking government officials implicated with all denying they were involved in any loss of funds at the organization.
