Petrol prices drop by KES 4 in latest review

Nairobi - Petrol prices have dropped by KES 4 in the latest price review by the Energy Regulatory Commision ERC.
The Star reports that the price of super petrol has dropped by KES 4.87 per litre while that of diesel and kerosene has slightly gone up.
Diesel went up by KES 0.53 per litre and kerosene KES 1.81 per litre respectively in the latest ERC review.
In Nairobi, motorists will now pay KES 80.71 for a litre of super petrol, KES 66.23 for diesel and KES 43.91 for kerosene.

Tuko.co.ke reported further that Mombasa
will buy the cheapest super petrol at KES 77.43, diesel KES 62.98 and
kerosene KES 41.27. Mandera residents will pay the highest price at KES 94.52 for petrol, KES 80.04(diesel) and KES 57.77 for kerosene.
The drop was attributed to the weighted average cost of imported refined petroleum products.
three products will be sold at KES 82.71, KES 68.40 and KES 45.86
respectively in Kisumu and KES 82.65, KES 68.34 and KES 45.87 in Eldoret.
In Nakuru, a litre of super petrol will cost KES 81.50, diesel KES 67.19 and kerosene KES 44.84
