Over turned bus at Daraja Moja bridge injures 32 lives

Kisii – A bus that overturned on Wednesday has left 32 people injured at the Daraja Moja bridge in Kisii.
According to The Star the driver looks to have lost control of the vehicle then hitting a street light pole opposite the Kisii Polytechnic bus stage.
A bystander, Irene Bosibori reported that, “I was at my kiosk when I heard a loud bang. The next thing I saw was a bus on its side with bystanders trying to assist passengers to get out of it. Many people were injured,” she told the Daily Nation.

In May motorists in Kisumu were angered over the poor state of roads, reports Standard Media.
The Matatu Owners Association coordinator Sam Ndiege stated roads were in such a poor state to drive especially during rains and floods.
The state of the roads caused grave danger to road users that it was also costing them a great deal to fix.
They threatened to withdraw if the county government did not fix the problem.
