ODM headed for landslide win in Malindi: Poll

Nairobi - ODM is headed for a landslide win in the Malindi by elections, if the results of a poll are to believed.
ODM's Willy Mtengo will garner a 61 per cent win in the March 7
Malindi by-election, a poll has found, and placed his closest rival at
29 per cent, The Star reports.
The survey found Malindi is predominantly affiliated
to ODM (67 per cent) but noted Mtengo and Jubilee challenger Philip
Charo are 98 per cent and 100 per cent known respectively.
The survey by Trends and Insights For Africa company gave The National Alliance a one per cent following.

The Daily Nation though, reported that a stubborn Jubilee Coalition continued to campaign in the region, asking area residents to sun the opposition and head the government side.
Deputy President William Ruto it was reported, returned to the area to campaign for Jubilee Party candidate Philip Charo.
Ruto, accompanied by Jubilee leaders, addressed residents at several
stopovers as they headed to a major rally at the Mutere Karima Primary
The Deputy President asked residents to vote wisely in the March 7 by-election.
