Ndubai sworn in as new NYS Director General

Nairobi - Richard Ndubai has been sworn in as the new National Youth Service NYS Director General.
The Daily Nation reports that Ndubai has been sworn in during a ceremony Tuesday at State House Mombasa which was attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ndubai takes over the controversy riddled NYS, left publicly disgraced following a series of corruption allegations against it.
Speaking on Tuesday when he witnessed Ndubai's swearing-in
ceremony, President Kenyatta ordered the
resumption of the service’s youth empowerment programme.

According to The Standard, Ndubai is well read and is not new to public service.
He holds a master's degree in public administration from
Harvard University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from
the University of Nairobi.
He is due to graduate with a PhD in performance contracting, measurement and public service delivery from the same university.
He has also formerly served as a Permanent Secretary in government.
