Mwai Kibaki to undergo surgery

Nairobi - Former Kenya President, Mwai Kibaki is set to undergo surgery in South Africa after a blood clot was found in a vein on his neck.
Mwai Kibaki was admitted to the Netcare Sunninghill Hospital in Johannesburg Sunday after suffering a minor stroke.
Kibaki was airlifted to SA for specialised treatment after spending the
entire day Sunday at Karen Hospitalwhere he was rushed after falling ill
at his home in Muthiga, Nairobi.
On Tuesday, doctors found a clot on his neck and scheduled a surgery Thursday to remove it.
This is the third time the 84-year-old retired President has suffered a stroke, Daily Nation reports.
However, doctors have said that it is located at a safe part of his body.
Relatives who accompanied him and government officials had confirmed that he is doing well and even walking around.
