Moi University student killed in fight over a girl

Eldoret - A Fourth Year student at Moi University was Monday night stabbed to death by a schoolmate in a suspected love triangle.
The assailant, Diskson Syengo who is a First Year student, is said to have been drunk when he committed the offence.
According to NTV, the two were fighting over a First Year student by the name Faith, who is said to have been in a love affair with the two.
Further reports indicate that they engaged in a fight after bumping into each other at Faith’s house at Pioneer Estate.
In the middle of the fight, Syengo is said to have grabbed a kitchen knife which he used to stab Stephen Wairimu eight times.
He died while undergoing treatment at the Moi Teaching and Referral hospital.
Police confirmed the incident saying that Syengo is being held at Langas police station awaiting trial.
