Nairobi - A shocking exposé by KTN News has revealed that child sex tourism is growing rapidly in Mombasa and Malindi counties, targeting boys and girls between 14 and 17.
A local agency linked to the recruitment of the minors for sex tourism is said is said to have been using fake Facebook accounts to dupe unsuspecting parents into handing over their children to pedophiles from Europe.
They ask parents to submit photos and details of their children so they can be linked to foreign ‘sponsors’.
The children are then handed over to elderly foreigners, who introduce them to sex and drugs inside private villas where pornographic movies are also shot.

However, during the interview with KTN, parents of these children confessed that they could not help end the vice because the foreigners provide them with financial support.
The exposé came hot on the wheels of reports that some bars at Likoni Sub-county in Mombasa were allowing school girls to engage in commercial sex.
Area Children officers and human rights activists called on police to crack the whip on such bars and also urged parents to take good care of their children in order to tame the vice.
