Man in Sango village stabbed over passion crime

Homa Bay – A man was stabbed with a knife in Sango village on Sunday after two men trailed him thinking that he had hooked up with their girlfriend.

According to Standard Media the details are very unclear but the man was stabbed and died on the spot.

Homa Bay County Police Commander, John Omusanga said the police are hoping the public will come forward with any information regarding the incident.

Meanwhile over the weekend transport activities were paralyzed along Mukurweini-Othaya road after a group of mourners blocked the road with a coffin carrying the remains of a man who died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle.

They barricaded the roads in protest over the fact that the deceased was killed by a hit-and-run vehicle whose driver is yet to be arrested.
