Kenyans condemn KDF for betraying 'Mandera Heroes'

Mandera - Kenyans have protested the murder of two occupants of a Probax vehicle that was shot by KDF officers in Mandera Monday mid-morning.
It is reported that the officers had flagged the vehicle to stop on suspicion that it contained explosives, but the occupants defied the orders thus prompting the shooting.
However, area Governor Ali Roba has defended the two slain men saying there was no evidence of explosives in their vehicles.
Local residents have also protested the murder, which Kenyans on Twitter, especially those of Somali origin, saying the shooting goes against the spirit of nationalism portrayed by locals who shielded non-Muslims during a recent attack on a bus.
