Kenyan man poisons his four children after quarreling with wife

Eldoret, Kenya - A man is being held at the Eldoret west police station for poisoning his four children following a domestic squabble with his wife.
The man, who has been identified as Musa Saka, had allegedly threatened to kill his wife following an argument, forcing her to flee.
It was then that the peasant farmer decided to vent his anger on his children by putting poison in their drink, Standard reports.

According to Daily Nation, the second-born aged 11 and fourth-born aged 2 succumbed, but the first-born and third-born are currently undergoing treatment at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.
Police say the man also attempted to poison himself in the Sunday incident, but was rushed to hospital where he was treated and discharged.
He will remain in custody for 14 days as police conduct investigations into the matter.
