Kenyan international footballer dies suddenly

Nairobi - A Kenyan international footballer has died suddenly after a short illness.
Soka report that Harambee Starlets Under-17 midfielder Anastancia Mwathe famously known as Kalete has passed on after a short illness.

“Kalete was one of the best players at this school. Before
finishing her O-level studies in 2013, she inspired the team to win the
2013 title in Embu and represented the country in Nigeria. She almost
left for United States scholarship but a delay saw her hang around
featuring in a few tournaments," Olympic High School coach Joseph Orao is quoted as saying.
