Nairobi - Residents of Othaya, Nyeri County have been urged to keep off alcohol during the funeral of the former first lady, Lucy Kibaki on Saturday.
According to police, this will help portray a “good image” to dignitaries who will be visiting the County to pay homage to the late Mama Lucy.
Nyeri South OCPD also told Daily Nation that anyone found drunk and disorderly near the burial site will be arrested.
Lucy Kibaki died last Tuesday at the Bupa Cromwell hospital in London where she was undergoing treatment.
