Government set three year plan to eradicate traffic in Nairobi

Nairobi – The issue of traffic and congestion in Nairobi is
increasingly becoming more and more of a problem also raising frustration from
locals who believe a plan needs to be made.
Hence Citizen TV spoke to Government who claims that in
three years the Capital will be free of traffic congestion.

Transport Cabinet Secretary Dr. James Macharia has stated
that fresh plans are underway, namely for the Jomo Kenyatta International
Airport – Rironi road to be fast tracked.

Meanwhile an elderly man on Friday was mauled by wandering
lion causing panic during peak traffic along Mombasa Road.
Drivers can be seen hooting at the animal while trying to
take selfies which caused the agitated Lion to take a swipe an elderly man.
