The four accused are said to have committed the murder on September 16, 2013 killing hawker Irungu Kamau.

Protus Sakala is said to be the leader of the group and thus far Senator Mike Sonko offered a Sh100 000 reward on any information behind the murder.

However activist Joseph Gitonga sued Sonko saying that he is deliberately trying to harass the four in police custody, reports Diaspora Messenger.

He accused Sonko of using  the State to incarcerate the four without substantial proof.

The matter will be heard in court on April 12th.
