Fire at Kamandura Girl’s Secondary School razed dorms to the ground

Limuru – Students at Kamandura Girl’s Secondary School in Limuru were left desolate after a fire razed more than 10 dormitories to the ground on Monday evening. 

According to The Star more than 28 girls were affected by the fire.

Communications Director, Fred Majiwa pins the cause of the fire to be an electrical fault.

Ten girls in critical condition were taken to Tigoni Hospital while those suffering from minor injuries were taken to St. John Ambulance medics.

Meanwhile early Tuesday morning a road accident involving a fuel tanker and about five vehicles cause a massive road black along Maai Mahiu Road resulting in a massive inferno.

The fuel tanker crashed at a bend near the Italian Catholic Church then burst into flames.
