Nairobi - Residents of South B Estate in Nairobi held demonstrations over the weekend following the death of a woman at a police station Wednesday.
Mercy Nanjala is said to have spent only nine hours at the Mariguini AP camp before she met her death.
Police said that she was rushed to the Mater hospital after developing an epileptic attack, The Star reports, but her mother rubbished the claims saying she was not epileptic.

Nanjala was arrested Tuesday night for stealing a friend’s mobile phone, which she had already handed over to the police.
Her family now wants police to investigate what killed her, and why the police withheld the mobile phone in question.
Residents of South B stages demonstrations on Saturday demanding the transfer of the police officers who are the prime suspects in the rape.
