BREAKING: IEBC commissioners agree to leave office

Nairobi - All the nine IEBC commissioners have finally agreed to go home.
The IEBC chair, Issack Hassan said they were ready to leave in order to pave way for reforms, but asked a ‘dignified pay’ for their negotiated exit.
He also asked for the Commission staff to be retained to handle the 2017 general election, The Star reports.
This comes after days of dialogue on the possibility of reconstituting the Commission following integrity concerns raised by the opposition CORD.
Kenyans have taken to Twitter to congratulate the commissioners on their decision to quit saying it would pave way to a free and fair election next year.
