Nakuru - Another accident at Salgaa has claimed three lives, bringing to eight the number of people who have died at the black spot this year.
The Sunday morning accident happened after the driver of a speeding PSV lost control, hitting a stationary saloon car at Migaa area.
According to Standard, passengers aboard the bus said it had mechanical problems at the time they started their journey in Kisumu.
On New Year’s Eve, another accident at the same black spot killed five teenagers after their car rammed into a passenger bus.
According to Rift Valley traffic boss Mary Omari, the five were occupants of the private car that was being driven at a high speed.
It has since been established that the vehicle belonged to an AP officer attached to Njoro, who had given it to his friend who in turn hired it out to the teenagers.
